Chef Mehedy Hasan, a renowned culinary professional from Dhaka, has been honored with the Best Chef Trainer Award 2025 by the Chefs Federation of Bangladesh (CFB). The recognition was announced during the grand celebration of International Chef’s Day 2025, held at InterContinental Dhaka.
Expressing his gratitude, Chef Mehedy said, “I’m truly grateful for this recognition and would like to thank all my mentors, colleagues, and culinary friends for their constant support.”
The event organized by the CFB, brought together over a thousand chefs, hospitality professionals, students, and food entrepreneurs from across the country. It served as one of the largest gatherings of culinary experts in Bangladesh, emphasizing the importance of food safety, sustainability, and nurturing future culinary talent.

The celebration was graced by prominent guests, including Fisheries and Livestock Secretary Abu Taher Muhammad Zaber, Vice-President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Shakawath Hossain—CEO of Unique Hotel and Resorts PLC and Chief Adviser of CFB—CFB President Johir Khan, Senior Vice President Jashim Uddin, and General Secretary Borhan Khan, among others.
Speakers at the event highlighted the growing global recognition of Bangladeshi chefs and their contribution to the nation’s economy. Several outstanding culinary professionals were also recognized for their exceptional achievements and contributions to the hospitality sector.
The Chef’s Federation of Bangladesh, the national professional body representing chefs and hospitality experts, continues to champion the development of the culinary industry through training, advocacy, and international collaboration—promoting Bangladesh’s rich gastronomic heritage on the world stage.
