Ascott Palace Dhaka Promotes Dipankar Das Milton to General Manager

Ascott Palace Dhaka has announced the promotion of Dipankar Das Milton to the position of General Manager, marking a significant leadership transition for the property.

A seasoned hospitality professional, Milton brings years of industry experience spanning both local and international hotel brands. His appointment reflects a career defined by operational excellence, leadership expertise, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Milton began his hospitality journey with Seagull Hotels Ltd. in the Front Office department, where he developed a strong foundation in guest relations and hotel operations. He later joined Lakeshore Hotel & Apartments as Assistant Front Office Manager, further strengthening his expertise in service delivery and hotel management within Dhaka’s competitive hospitality market.

He subsequently became part of The Westin Dhaka, operating under Marriott International, where he gained extensive exposure to international hospitality standards and high-pressure operational environments.

Before assuming his new role, Milton served as Executive Assistant Manager at Ascott Palace Dhaka. During his tenure, he played a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency, improving guest experiences, and supporting the hotel’s overall growth. His strong leadership and performance ultimately led to his promotion as General Manager.

Industry observers note that Milton’s leadership style combines team engagement with a results-oriented approach — qualities considered essential in navigating the evolving post-pandemic hospitality landscape.
