A New Milestone in Bangladesh’s Hospitality Industry: Saifur Rahman Jabed Earns International “Golden Keys” Recognition

A proud new chapter has been added to Bangladesh’s hotel and hospitality industry by Saifur Rahman Jabed, Chief Concierge of Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View Hotel. By earning membership in the internationally renowned concierge association “Les Clefs d’Or,” he has set a unique milestone as the first representative from Bangladesh to achieve this prestigious recognition.

The honor was conferred during the 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the 15th anniversary celebration of “Les Clefs d’Or India,” held from June 15 to 17, 2026, at Udaipur Marriott Hotel in India. On June 16, during the main ceremony, the symbolic “Golden Keys” were officially pinned onto his coat, confirming his membership. His achievement received wide appreciation from experienced concierges from across the globe who attended the event.

Currently, Bangladesh does not have an independent national section of “Les Clefs d’Or.” Within South Asia, only the India section is active. In this context, Saifur Rahman Jabed obtained his membership through “Les Clefs d’Or India,” making his accomplishment even more significant.

It is worth noting that the organization was founded in Paris, France, in 1929 and formally structured in 1952. Guided by its motto “Service through Friendship,” it has grown into a powerful professional network spanning more than 80 countries worldwide.

Earning membership in this organization is both highly challenging and prestigious. Candidates are selected based on extensive professional experience, excellence in service delivery, outstanding professionalism, and proven ability to ensure guest satisfaction. The final selection involves rigorous evaluation, recommendations from existing members, and adherence to international standards.

Members of the organization proudly wear the symbol of crossed golden keys on their uniforms, representing trust, reliability, and excellence in service across the world.

This achievement by Saifur Rahman Jabed is not only a personal success but also a significant advancement for Bangladesh’s hospitality sector. It is expected to strengthen the country’s presence on the international stage and showcase the quality and capability of its service industry, further solidifying Bangladesh’s position in global tourism.

Jabed was born in Kathaltoli area of Moulvibazar district and completed his education in Sreemangal. He currently resides in the Shahibag area of Sreemangal with his family. Although he stays in Chattogram for professional responsibilities, he maintains strong ties with his home district.

Bangladesh’s growing connection with this world-class organization is expected to play an important role in enhancing international collaboration, expanding the tourism industry, and improving service standards in the future.

Through this remarkable achievement, Saifur Rahman Jabed has presented Bangladesh’s hospitality industry on the global stage in a new light and set an inspiring example for the next generation of professionals.
