Ms. Nadiha Ali, the daughter of Unique Group and Post Media Ltd Managing Director Mohd Noor Ali, has tragically passed away following a road accident in the USA (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un). She was 37 years old.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday in a road crash near Chicago airport. Ms. Nadiha Ali, the second daughter of Valiant Freedom Fighter Mohd Noor Ali and Ms. Salina Ali, left a void that deeply affected the Unique Group, all its associate organizations, and her family upon the news of her untimely death reaching Bangladesh. Mohd Noor Ali has promptly departed for the USA upon learning about the tragic demise of his daughter.
Her body is expected to be brought back to Bangladesh for burial, as per family members.
The Unique Group has conveyed its deepest condolences over the sudden loss of Ms. Nadiha Ali. In a statement, the group offered prayers for the salvation of her departed soul and extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
On Thursday, special prayers were offered seeking salvation for the departed soul of Ms. Nadiha Ali after Asr at the Unique Group head office. Unique Group Chief Adviser and The Business Post Acting Editor Dr. Khondaker Showkat Hossain, Group CEO Syed Sanwarul Haque, CEO of Borak Real Estate Gazi Md Shakhawat Hossain, and Unique Hotel and Resort PLC Nominated Director Ghulam Mustafa were present. All staff and employees of the Unique Group attended the special prayers.
