The Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA) has announced its new executive committee (EC) for the 2024-2026 term, with Khaled Ur Rahaman Sany, Managing Director of Compass Hospitality Ltd (Golden Tulip the Grandmark), appointed as President.
Ahmed Yusuf Walid, Managing Director of Gateway Hospitality and Realty Management Ltd (The Way Dhaka), has been named First Vice President, while Abul Kalam Azad, Managing Director of Long Beach Hotel Ltd, will serve as the Second Vice President, according to a press release issued on 20th August 2024.
Additionally, BIHA has announced executive members of the committee. HM Hakim Ali, the former president and owner of Hotel Agrabad, has been appointed as the chief advisor.
The new EC members are Ali Mohammad Zakaria, Chairman of Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort; Syed Raziur Rahman Chowdhury, CES of Hotel Grand Park Barishal; Mashkur Sarwar, Managing Director of Hotel Sarina Ltd; Abdul Quader Mishu, Director of Ocean Paradise Hotel and Resort; Ahmed Hossain, Director of Fars Hotel & Resort; and Hosne Ara Begum, Chairman of Momo Inn.
BIHA is a prominent organization in the hospitality industry, representing over 51 international hotels.
