The festival was inaugurated with a cake-cutting ceremony by Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury, Chairman of Dhaka Regency Hotel, and Shahid Hamid FIH, Executive Director & Managing Director (Current Charge), along with distinguished guests from various embassies and airlines.
As part of Dhaka Regency’s ongoing commitment to promoting local culture, this event will shine a spotlight on the unique and diverse culinary practices that define Bangladesh. Renowned local chefs will present a variety of traditional and regional dishes with a modern twist, offering a blend of authentic flavors and innovative culinary techniques.
Guests can look forward to a wide range of mouth-watering dishes, including biriyani cooked inside bamboo stalks, choijhal gosht, shatkora chicken, koi paturi, and vegetarian delights like dal with drumstick shoots, bamboo shoot curry, laukhatta, shabji labra, and more. For dessert, the festival will introduce lesser-known traditional cakes and sweets, in addition to beloved classics such as Hilsa Paturi, Bhuna Khichuri, Panta Ilish, and various regional curries.
