In a powerful display of support for gender equality and women’s empowerment, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated a special all-women flight today in celebration of International Women’s Day.
According to a press release from Biman, the special flight was crewed entirely by female cockpit and cabin members, underscoring the national carrier’s commitment to eliminating gender discrimination and promoting inclusivity in aviation.
Captain Anita and First Officer Tasnuva led the Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka flight BG 388, with two female cockpit crew members and five female cabin crew members ensuring a smooth journey for passengers.
